Eyedropper Step-by-Step Manual

Sometimes simple colors are just not enough: precise hues must be added to the board or match an existing sample. Conceptboard has developed an eyedropper tool to facilitate exact color matching where it matters. Eyedropper is an onboard tool that helps you to identify colors and hues and add them to your personal color palette.

The eyedropper can be found via the color menu of shapes or other board elements and allows for:

  • Selecting colors from a color spectrum
  • Adding hex codes of user-defined colors
  • Identifying hues of media on the board and apply them to other elements

Let's get started

Step 1: Create a shape.

Step 2: Select the shape. A floating menu will appear above it.

Step 3: Select the color icon. A fall-down menu will appear below it. Select the plus icon.

Step 4: You will be taken to the personal colors menu automatically. The color wheel will appear. There you can choose colors by hovering over the spectrum or by entering a hex code. Select the eyedropper icon.

Step 5: The eyedropper tool will turn into a circle with a nucleus. You can hover with it over the whole board. The tool identifies exact hues and their hex codes. When the needed hue is found, just click once and it will be added to your personal colors palette.
