Now, you can Freeze objects to the edges of your board, keeping them visible on your screen as you navigate through the app.
ℹ️ Plan and Role restrictions
Freeze objects are available for Premium, Business, Enterprise, or Education plans. Team members with editor board access rights can freeze text objects. Reviewers and readers do not have the option to.
Freeze an object
Freezing an Object Using the Floating Toolbar
- Select the object you want to freeze
- Access the "More" menu on the floating toolbar
- Choose "Freeze object" from the menu to freeze the selected object
Freezing an Object Using the Right-Click Menu
- Right-click on the object you want to freeze
- Select "Freeze object" from the context menu to freeze it
Important note: The object must be ungrouped before you can freeze it.
Unfreeze an object
Unfreezing an object is just as easy as freezing it. You can either use the floating toolbar or the right-click menu to unfreeze an object.
Freeze multiple objects
It is possible to freeze multiple objects at once and select to freeze them on any of the edges of the board.
Important note: If you move away from a frozen object while navigating, you can easily click on it to return to its original location.
If you have multiple frozen objects overlapping, they will be stacked, with the nearest one on top.
If the text within a frozen object isn't visible, you can hover over it to preview the full text.
Hide frozen objects
To hide frozen objects from the Board edges, uncheck "Frozen objects" in the "View" menu. They remain frozen and can be restored by checking the option again.
