Jira Integration is available to all PRO teams, Enterprise customers and On-Prem solutions

If You Use an On-Prem Version of JIRA
Our JIRA integration is also available for on-prem solutions.
Please reach out to your Conceptboard account manager for further assistance with the setup. Our support team will require the following information from your side:
URL of JIRA API (base_url)
Exact version of your JIRA API (most frequently it is version 2)
Please specify which type of authentication you would prefer:
PAT: Personal Access Token
Basic Authentication
Search Behaviour in JIRA and JIRA On-Prem
The simple search behaves differently depending on your JIRA deployment:
JIRA Cloud supports searching by issue key (for example,
ABC-12) as well as other searchable fieldsJIRA On-Prem uses an older JIRA API for simple search. As a result, it only searches the issue summary and description, and does not support searching directly by issue key
Important: This is a limitation of JIRA On-Prem API, not Conceptboard
Why am I seeing unexpected search results?
If you search for an issue key such as ABC-12, JIRA On-Prem may return other issues if that key appears in their summary or description (for example, as a reference to another issue).
For the most accurate results in JIRA On-Prem, we recommend using JQL (JIRA Query Language) whenever possible.
Important: The current version of the JIRA integration does not support JQL auto-complete or query suggestions. JQL queries must be entered manually. If you leave the JQL search field empty, the integration displays the default set of JIRA issues.
Troubleshooting
401 Error for unauthorized request
Description:
Users cannot use JIRA integration
When opening a window to search for JIRA issues, an error message appears on the top left of the board
When trying to sync JIRA issues from or to JIRA, an error message appears at the top left of the board
Why does it happen?
JIRA API periodically disconnects
This is by design from the side of JIRA API. This behaviour is unrelated to the setup of Conceptboard’s integration
What should you do?
1. Disconnect your JIRA account from Conceptboard
Important: JIRA is only disconnected when the notification at the top left of the board says that JIRA was disconnected. If it doesn’t refresh the page and try again)
2. Re-connect to your JIRA account again
3. It should work now properly
