Conceptboard integration into Confluence enables you to embed boards directly into Confluence pages using either the Conceptboard macro tool or by pasting a supported board URL. You can collaborate visually without leaving Confluence.
How to Embed a Conceptboard into a Confluence Page
There are two ways to embed a Conceptboard board into a Confluence page:
Conceptboard Macro – Type /Conceptboard in the page editor or click the + button and search for Conceptboard to insert the macro.
Auto-convert – Paste a supported Conceptboard board URL directly into the page. Confluence automatically converts the URL into an embedded Conceptboard board.
Insert Board: Slash Command or Click the + Button
Open any Confluence page in edit mode
Position your cursor where you want the board
Type
/to open the command menuType "Conceptboard" to search
Click Conceptboard to select
In the pop-up window that appears, paste your Conceptboard board URL
Click Embed Board
The board appears in your page
Toolbar Actions
The toolbar above the embedded board has two actions:
Reload — Refresh the board content
Use after signing into Conceptboard in another tab
Useful when the board is not being displayed
Go to Board — Open in Conceptboard
Opens the board in the full Conceptboard interface
Opens in a new tab
Display Issue Window
When a board cannot be displayed, you will see a screen with helpful tips to resolve the problem. This ensures that you always know what is happening and how to fix it.
Resolution Tips:
Click Open Conceptboard in the dialog window then click Continue.
The board opens directly in Conceptboard.
Sign in to your Conceptboard account.
Return to the Confluence page and click the Reload button to load the embedded board.
Change the Embedded Board
To switch to a different board:
Click on the embedded macro to select it
Click the Edit (pencil) icon that appears
In the dialog, replace the URL
Click Update Board
Installing the Confluence App Using the Installation Link
Open the installation link in your browser.
Sign in using your Atlassian account if prompted.
Select the Confluence site where you wish to install the app.
Review the requested permissions.
Click Install to begin the installation.
Wait until the installation is completed.
Open your Confluence page and verify that the app has been installed successfully.
