MS Teams integration for Dedicated and MultiDE teams

The Conceptboard App is available for MS Teams and can be used by all teams including those that are on a Dedicated instance or MultiDE (IONOS).

However, teams on a Dedicated instance or MultiDE require a custom Conceptboard App, which can be set up by following these steps:

1. Contact the Conceptboard admin of your team or Conceptboard Customer Support directly: This step ensures you get the necessary permissions and resources.
2. Request the ZIP file required for MS Teams integration: this is needed to set up the integration with Microsoft Team.
3. Upload an App on MS Teams: Use the Manage apps page in MS Teams to upload the new app. You can access it via this link
4. Configure App Availability: Set up the app’s availability according to your organisation’s requirements.

Upload a New App for MS Teams

To upload a new Conceptboard App in your MS Teams organisation, start by logging into the MS Team's Manage apps page using this link.

Once you've successfully logged in, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Actions menu
2. Select Upload new app
3. In the new pop up window, click on the Upload button to open the file Uploader
4. Select the ZIP file provided by Conceptboard Customer Support and click Open
5. ⁠Suggested naming format for the app: "Conceptboard [Team Name]"

Edit Access Rights

To make the app available for your team and modify access rights:

1. Go to the Users and groups tab
2. Select Edit availability to manage access.

Updating an existing app for MS Teams

To update an existing Conceptboard app in your MS Teams organisation, start by logging into the MS Team's Manage apps page using this link.

Once you've successfully logged in, follow these steps:

1. Search for your team's Conceptboard app name in the search field located at the top-left of the apps list.
2. Click on your team's Conceptboard app from the results
3. Click Upload file and
4. Then click on Select to open the file Uploader
5. Chose the latest ZIP file provided by Conceptboard Customer Support and click Open

Your MS Teams app is now updated.
