Requesting board access

Clicked on a shared board link in a chat channel but you work with restricted boards (specific users access)?

Teams on Conceptboard that prefer to use board access setting specific users (guest access and link sharing is off) can now quickly and easily request access to a board they've entered via a shared link.

When you're logged in and attempting to enter a board you haven't been directly invited to, you will now see this page:

Requesting access sends an email to the board owner (and editors, if this option is on). Board owners/editors can open a dialog window from the email or directly access via the Share dialog (when set to specific users):

Pending access requests will appear as a yellow alert bar in the Share dialog when at least one pending request is present.

Standard access rights can be chosen for each requesting user:

Important Information for team setting "Only team members can be invited to collaborate"

Conceptboard protects information from unsolicited board access. Team administrators can enable restrictions for non-team members accessing all boards within a team. Non-team members are guests, free account users and users from other teams.

If you tried to open a board link but got re-directed to the page shown below, please be aware that access to this board would require membership of the board creator's team.
